Anterior Chamber

A fluid-filled
space between the cornea and pupil. The fluid is called aqueous humor,
and contains the necessary elements that nourish and protect the cornea
and other structures. This is a highly important anatomic area of the
eye and is the focus for many diseases that can occur such as glaucoma,
cataract, uveitis, just to mention a few.
