Lacrimal Gland

A small gland
that secrets tears to bathe, nourish, and protect the front part of the
eye. This gland is located behind the bone at the tail end of your eyebrow
called the superior orbital rim. Disorders of this gland can cause a dry
eye problem and is common with advancing age. It is frequently involved
in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other problems.
