Dr. Sasser is a native of North Carolina and has provided eye care for adults and children in the Winston-Salem and Lexington region since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Sasser also earned a Doctor of Optometry degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in integrated biological sciences from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Throughout his career, Dr. Sasser has enjoyed providing eye care for the entire family and feels that prevention and early diagnosis are the key elements to maintaining ocular health. In his spare time, he enjoys music, golf and fishing. He and his wife Linda have two adult children, Sarah and Grayson.
Prior to joining Davidson Eye Associates, he founded Midway Optometric Eye Care. He practices at our Lexington and Midway offices. Dr. Sasser is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina State Optometric Society.
