For nearly two decades, Davidson Eye Associates has provided comprehensive eye care to residents of Davidson County and surrounding counties and has redefined the standards of eye care in Davidson County. We were among the first physicians in this area to perform laser surgery, and have maintained a special interest in the use of laser technology for treatment of such diseases as glaucoma, retinal problems, secondary cataracts, and diabetic eye disease. Over the years, we have expanded our services to provide the finest technology in eye care. We offer the latest techniques of microsurgery including same-day "no-stitch" cataract surgery. Nearly all surgical cases are performed on an outpatient basis and most procedures, including laser work are performed in our office surgical suite. Our physicians and staff offer complete eye care ranging from routine exams, glasses and contact lenses, to eye infections, injuries, and complicated diseases. We also work closely with a variety of other medical specialists to provide you with complete medical and surgical eye care. Hours
Monday through Thursday 7:30AM – 5:00PM, and on Friday 7:30AM – 11:30AM

Emergencies
24 hour coverage is provided. During office hours, please call 336-243-2436 or 1-800-216-2436. After hours and on weekends, a doctor can be reached by calling Lexington Memorial Hospital at 336-248-5161.

Appointments
Appointments can be made by calling the office during routine office hours. When making an appointment, please state the exact nature of your visit so that an appropriate amount of time can be scheduled. If you are having a complete eye examination, please allow one to two hours for your visit and make arrangements for someone to drive you home, as your pupils will be dilated when you leave our office. We ask that all children under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or guardian to each visit.

Fees and Insurance
In order to control our costs, we ask that you be prepared to pay for services rendered at the time of your office visit, unless previous arrangements are made. We accept personal checks, cash, VISA, and MasterCard.

We are happy to assist our patients in filing insurance. We participate in most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also accept Medicare assignment. Please call our insurance department for further questions concerning your insurance plan.

From Winston-Salem (NORTH): Take Hwy #52 South to Business I-85 Loop South. Take exit #86 HOSPITAL. Turn right off ramp. Go through stoplight, get in left lane, and take the first left onto Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take the first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.

From Greensboro, High Point, Durham (NORTH EAST): Take I-85 South to business I-85 loop South. When approaching Lexington, follow ramp sign to Charlotte (bypassing Lexington). Go several miles and take exit #86 (HOSPITAL). Turn right off ramp. Go through stoplight, get into left lane, and take the first left onto Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take the first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.

From Thomasville (NORTH EAST): Take business I-85 loop South. When approaching Lexington, follow ramp sign to Charlotte (bypassing Lexington). Go several miles and take exit #86 (HOSPITAL). Turn right off ramp. Go through stoplight, get into left lane, and take the first left onto Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take the first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.

From Charlotte, Salisbury (SOUTH): Take I-85 North to business I-85 loop North. Take exit #86 (HOSPITAL). Take left off ramp (stoplight at that intersection), stay in left lane, and take first left on to Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.

From Asheboro (EAST): Take Hwy #64 West to I-85 business loop South. Go several miles and take exit #86 (HOSPITAL). Turn right off ramp. Go through stoplight, get into left lane, and take the first left onto Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take the first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.

From Mocksville (WEST): Take Hwy #64 East to I-85 business loop South. Go several miles and take exit #86 (HOSPITAL). Turn right off ramp. Go through stoplight, get into left lane, and take the first left onto Anna Lewis Drive. Go approximately 200 yards and take the first left onto Hospital Drive. Building and drive will be on the immediate right.
